When it comes to independent choice reading, the excitement can wear off at some point. How do we keep the energy towards independent reading going when students (and teachers) are feeling tired or bored? In this webinar, your facilitator Jen López (2020 Teacher of the Year from the Minnesota Council of Teachers of Languages & Cultures) will share ideas to shake things up a bit and regenerate interest in choice reading. These include class challenges, choice boards, and books sampling.

Note: All languages are welcome in this workshop! Jen is Spanish/English bilingual and translanguaging will be used throughout.
