This is a great opportunity for undergraduate students to showcase their research or other scholarly or creative projects in the form of poster presentations, oral presentations, and other creative work that can include research from:
- Undergraduate Research Grants
- Research from other programs such as King Chavez Scholars, McNair Scholars, and Honors, among others.
- Independent Study
- Research done for class credit
- Performing arts (literary readings, theatre, music or dance)
- Visual arts (art exhibit)
Students presenting in Undergraduate Research Day, please register here by October 20.
- There should only be one registration per poster, oral presentaion, or other scholarly or creative work. For example, if you have 5 people on your research team and 1 poster, there should be one registration form submitted. If you are on a research team of 5 but you have 5 posters, then 5 research forms should be submitted.
- Posters should be 40 X 40 inches. Presenters will prepare and display a research poster. Students will discuss their posters with other conference participants during the session.
- Oral presentation should be accompanied with a PowerPoint (Please save to your UWW Google Drive). Presenters will give 15-minute presentations followed by a 5-minute question-and-answer period. Each 1-hour session will feature three student presenters. A computer, project, pointer, sound, and microphone will be available as needed by presenters.
- URP will cover the cost of poster printing.
- Please visit our resources page for more information about printing.
