Leda Kanellakou (previously Nath) holds a Ph.D. (2002) from the University of Iowa in Sociology, emphasis in Social Psychology and Complex Organizations. She arrived at UW-Whitewater in Fall 2002. Her research interests span across various areas: social psychology, environmental sociology, conflict, and teaching & learning. She teaches face-to-face and online courses in social research methods, basic social statistics, social psychology, sociology of environment, sociology of family & work, organizations & society, plus general education courses. She enjoys mentoring undergraduates on research and advising students. She has served as the Department Chair twice. She has also held the Treasurer and the President role for the Wisconsin Sociological Association.
