The Learning Technology Center (LTC) supports quality assurance initiatives, works with instructors to adopt best practices for their course design, and offers training and consulting on supported services and technology.

Getting started with Course Design

The Learning Technology Center provides both one-on-one and departmental consultation for instructional activity techologies and evidence-based best practices in online and blended course design.

Quality Matters

Quality Matters (QM) is a peer review process designed to certify the quality of design for online and blended courses. To start the QM process, please fill out the following form, obtain appropriate signatures, and send the form via campus mail (or deliver) to the Learning Technology Center, McGraw Hall, Room 120: QM Course Review Intention Form.

DETA

The National Research Center for Distance Education and Technology Advancements (DETA) developed eight indicators based on research to make iterative improvements to courses. To start the DETA process, please contact the Learning Technology Center expressing an interest in the process.
