Congratulations #FutureWarhawk! We are excited that you are ready to join the Warhawk family. To reserve your spot and set yourself up for a successful year, just follow the steps below:
Now that you are a #FutureWarhawk, it is time to establish your log-in credentials. You'll use this username and password to log in to all university systems, including your WINS account and your email. Your campus email is the main way we will be contacting you from now on. Check it regularly so you do not miss out on important campus information and reminders.
Follow these steps to establish your log-in credentials:
Visit password.uww.edu and click on the log in button on the left side of your screen.
The next page will require a username and password. Your username is your Net-ID, and your password is your seven-digit ID number (both your Net-ID and seven-digit ID number can be found on your admission letter).
You will then be prompted to change your password.
Once your password is changed, you can access all university accounts using your Net-ID and new password.
Your housing contract is available starting Oct. 1, 2018. Due to the high demand for on-campus housing, we recommend you submit your signed housing contract along with the $125 housing deposit as soon as possible. You will have the opportunity to select a Learning Community and be matched with a roommate at a later date. Visit uww.edu/housing/assignment/housingcontracts to begin, and note that you will use your seven-digit ID number as both your username and password when accessing the housing contract.
The FAFSA is available at fafsa.ed.gov starting Oct. 1, 2018. The priority deadline for submission is Jan. 1, 2019. If you completed the FAFSA and submitted all your required materials by Jan. 1, your award letter will be sent beginning Feb. 1.
Registration for the University of Wisconsin System placement testing begins Feb. 1, 2019. All incoming freshmen are required to take a Math Placement Test (MPT). You will not be able to register for a math course or any course with a math prerequisite until you have taken the MPT. If you have previous foreign language coursework (Spanish, German or French), we recommend you also take the appropriate placement test(s) at this time. You will be placed in English courses based on your ACT English sub-score/SAT Reading Test sub-score or your previous college-level coursework. Please visit the Center for Placement Testing for more information: testing.wisc.edu/centerpages/regionaltesting.html.
