More Information About Marketing

Undergraduate students at UW-Whitewater have the opportunity to tailor their degree with a wide variety of courses, as well as several emphases, minors and certificates. The college also offers a rich breadth of co-curricular opportunities, including the internationally-acclaimed UW-Whitewater AMA student organization and the Institute for Sales Excellence.

The Institute for Sales Excellence develops strong collaborations between faculty and businesses, offering opportunities for professional development, faculty internships and scholarly/practitioner research. It also serves as a regional resource for businesses and organizations by providing graduates, business training and networking opportunities.

The marketing emphasis in the MBA program develops a strong foundation for managerial marketing with course offerings that include digital marketing, brand management, consumer behavior, entrepreneurial marketing strategy and international marketing.

The UW-Whitewater AMA Chapter was named AMA International Chapter of the Year for the eighth straight year in 2019.
