The UW-Whitewater Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Program is a club that has been growing in popularity in the past couple of years. Mixed Martial Arts is one of the fastest growing sports in the world and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a big part of the MMA world. To accommodate to the interest of this ever growing sport we have formed the UW-Whitewater Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Club.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a grappling oriented form of Mixed Martial Arts that focuses on joint manipulation and choke submissions to defeat opponents. This sport is great for MMA enthusiasts and people who are just looking for a great workout. If you are interested in furthering your MMA skills or looking for a good form of self-defense this is the sport for you. Everyone is welcome to join!
