You should apply as an international exchange student if:
- You are not a US citizen or legal permanent resident
- You are nominated by one of UW-Whitewater's exchange partners
- You have completed at least one year of university studies before starting the exchange
- You do not plan to pursue a degree at UW Whitewater
Submit an application at https://apply.wisconsin.edu/ :
- Submit application first and then send the supporting documents. That would facilitate the processing of all the materials.
- Make sure your name on the application is the same as it appears in your passport
- Make sure that the Permanent Home Address is your home country address even if you currently live in the US
- Your Mailing Address can be your US address if you have one
- If you do not have a Social Security Number (SSN), you can leave that field blank
- Instructions on filling out undergraduate application
Fill out and submit the following supplementary documents electronically to lees08@uww.edu
- Application Supplement Form
- Attestation of English Proficiency
- Course Selection Form ( instructions)
- Certification of Finances Form
- Bank statement
- Academic Transcript
- Passport Copy
We recommend submitting the online application and all the supporting materials prior to these dates:
- Fall semester start: 15 th of March
- Spring semester start: 1 st of October

- Full name
- Major field(s) of study
- Academic level (undergraduate or graduate)
- Proposed term(s) of exchange study (Fall Semester, Spring Semester, or Academic Year)
