ATTENTION:

The College of Arts and Communication at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater seeks applicants for potential positions teaching “World of the Arts,” a required General Education Arts Survey course.

JOB DETAILS:


Teach “World of the Arts,” a required General Education Arts Survey course covering the disciplines of visual art, theatre, music and dance Preference will be given to those candidates with prior college teaching experience and strong multidisciplinary interests.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Earned Master's Degree in Theatre, Dance, Design, Studio Art, Art History, Music, Musicology, or related arts.
  • Terminal degree (MFA or doctorate) desired.
  • Experience teaching at an institution of higher learning.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

“World of the Arts,” a required General Education Arts Survey course covering the disciplines of visual art, theatre, music and dance. Full-time instructors are required to hold five office hours per week; part-time instructors will hold office hours on a prorated basis. Will be an active participant in following applicable safety rules and regulations including necessary training and drills.
