The UW-Whitewater Foundation in the division of University Relations at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater seeks a Director of Finance, (Advancement Services Director, AV020).
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working as a member of the senior leadership team at the Foundation. The Director of Finance has direct working relationships with the University and Foundation Board and its committees. An excellent opportunity for a candidate who enjoys working with a small collaborative team on a day-to-day basis to support the Foundation's mission. Academic staff positions are provided fixed term appointments with annual renewals unless otherwise noted. Reappointment for subsequent terms is dependent upon performance, university funding and external forces.
The Director of Finance is responsible for all financial aspects of the UW-Whitewater Foundation and its subsidiary, Warhawk Real Estate Foundation, LLC, independent fundraising arms of the University. This leadership position is responsible for financial operations including: financial and accounting policies, tax filing, regulatory requirements, financial budgeting, forecasting and modeling, investment of assets and endowment fund management. The Director of Finance will bring to the position an analytical perspective that will enable the unit to set a standard for efficiency and effective financial management needs of the Foundation. As a member of the senior leadership team, the Director is an active participant with other senior leaders and the Foundation Board in setting the strategic direction of the organization.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Well-qualified candidates can expect a starting annual salary within a range of $80,000-$120,000 commensurate with the candidate’s education, related experience, and qualifications.

Additionally, this position offers a hybrid work option and business casual dress. The incumbent will be available until early December to assist in training and knowledge transfer.
CONDITIONS OF APPOINTMENT:
University of Wisconsin-Whitewater does not offer H-1B or other work authorization visa sponsorship for this position. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and maintain work authorization throughout the employment term.
