CBL Course Designation: A Step-by-Step Guide

The purpose of this workshop is to demystify the CBL Course Designation process by providing an overview of the requirements for CBL Designation, along with information about how the campus chose those parameters. Current CBL-designated course instructors will share examples of how they aligned their courses with the campus-wide designation requirements. Finally, members of the CBL Council will provide insight into how courses are reviewed. Participants will have an opportunity to ask questions and receive detailed feedback and suggestions on how to successfully receive CBL Designation.

 Attendees will learn:

  1. A step-by-step guide on how to prepare a course for CBL designation
  2. Detailed examples of successful CBL-designated courses
  3. Feedback from the CBL Director and several members of the CBL Council on specific questions from workshop participants
