UW-WHITEWATER LIFE PROGRAM

UW-Whitewater's LIFE (Learning Is For Everyone) Program offers a complete college experience for young adults ages 18-25 with an intellectual disability. Through individualized supports, specialized instruction, on-campus residential living, and community engagement, LIFE provides access and opportunity for students who have historically been underrepresented in higher education.

The program includes two pathways – a two-year Basic Program and a two-year Advanced Program – both designed to support personal growth, independent living, and employment success. Students participate in campus life alongside their peers while developing the academic, social, and life skills needed to thrive beyond college.

An inclusive college experience.
