NOTE: Office 365 ProPlus is currently only available on Windows PCs. The Mac and mobile device version may be available in the future.

Google Drive is the supported campus solution for online document creation and collaboration. UW-Whitewater DOES NOT advise students to sign up for One Drive for educational purposes. Is this a full version Office and available for offline use? Yes, this is full Office on the PC and is available for offline use. However, students must connect to the Internet once every 30 days to verify they are still eligible for the program (only enrolled students).
What applications come with Office 365 ProPlus for PC?
Word 2013, Excel 2013, PowerPoint 2013, OneNote 2013, Access 2013, Publisher 2013, Outlook 2013 Lync 2013 and InfoPath 2013 are not enabled for UW-Whitewater students. If you click on Lync, it will auto start when you turn on your PC.

How long can you use ProPlus?
Access to Microsoft ProPlus will continue long as you are a enrolled in classes. When you are no longer eligible, you will still be able to access and print your files. However, you will not be able to install new instances of Office 365 ProPlus and you will not be able to create/save/edit files. You have the option of purchasing Office 365 ProPlus directly from Microsoft. Each student can install Office ProPlus on up to five home or personally-owned PCs/Macs. Microsoft will automatically issue updates.
