Exhibit statement

Memoria is an immersive gallery experience, designed to transport the viewer into an alternate dimension found between the past, present, and future, through ethereal glimpses of memories and the sacred ticking of time. The very essence of Memoria is an exploration of the vast landscape of human memory - chaotic, enigmatic, unknown yet familiar, shattered and pieced together. The looping and blurry labyrinth of contemplation beckons us to traverse a multidimensional mirror of recollections and emotions as we flow through this inexorable passage of time.

As we wander through the portals of this mesmerizing space, we are enveloped by a surreal symphony of the past and present, unearthing fragments of memories hidden in the crevices of our consciousness. Through a fusion of art, technology, and introspection, Memoria unfurls the stories etched in the intricate folds of our minds with splinters of illusionistic and haunting fused with the grand celestial and euphoric.

This immersive experience challenges us to reflect on the transient nature of life and the impermanence of our existence. This journey transcends mere observation, inviting you to navigate the kaleidoscope of memories and, in the process, to recognize the preciousness of time and the profound interconnectedness of our shared human experience. Memoria is yours to remember.

Artist Bio

Will Timlin is a graphic designer and digital artist based in Milwaukee, WI. He is currently a student at University of Wisconsin-Whitewater pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree with a graphic design emphasis and a marketing minor. Will is always looking to expand his skill set through new mediums such as 3D, video, music, and even interactive media. This can be seen in Memoria executed in his established glitchy, surreal art style.
