Undergraduate Research Day

Undergraduate Research Day is a biannual event where we highlight the great work of our UWW Undergraduate Student Researchers and showcase their research or other scholarly or creative projects in the form of poster presentations, oral presentations, and other creative work. The Spring 2024 Undergraduate Research Day will be held on March 21, 2024 in the University Center Hamilton Room.

Spring 2024 Undergraduate Research Day on March 21st 9am at 12pm in the Hamilton Room - UC
20th Annual UW-System Symposium

UW System Symposium

The UW System Symposium for Undergraduate Research, Scholarly & Creative Activity is held at a UW System School in the spring of years of the event. The Symposium gives undergraduate students in all disciplines, from all University of Wisconsin institutions, an opportunity to present their scholarly work. Students participate through oral presentations, poster displays, gallery exhibits, and artistic performances.  UW-Whitewater was excited to host the event in 2021-2022.

Research in the Rotunda

Outstanding undergraduate student researchers from across the University of Wisconsin System, together with their faculty advisers, will share their research findings on a variety of important topics with legislators, state leaders, UW alumni, and other supporters. Research in the Rotunda - to be determined.  For more details visit: https://www.wisconsin.edu/research-in-the-rotunda/

The National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR)  is dedicated to promoting undergraduate research, scholarship, and creative activity in all fields of study by sponsoring an annual national conference for students. Unlike meetings of academic professional organizations, this gathering of student scholars welcomes presenters from all institutions of higher learning across all disciplines.

NCUR 2023 will be close to home and will be hosted by UW-Eau Claire. More details can be found at NCUR.
