Undergraduate Research Day is a biannual event where we highlight the great work of our UWW Undergraduate Student Researchers through poster and video presentations. Normally, this event is a live poster presentation but we have temporarily moved to an online platform because of the current state of COVID.
For Fall Virtual Undergraduate Research Day in 2020, we used a platform named Guidebook. Click the link to the right to view past poster and video presentations on Guidebook.
The UW System Symposium for Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity will be held virtually in 2021 and hosted by UW-Whitewater on Wednesday, April 28.
Every year, the UW System Symposium is held at a UW System School in the spring. The Symposium gives undergraduate students in all disciplines, from all University of Wisconsin institutions, an opportunity to present their scholarly work. Students participate through oral presentations, poster displays, gallery exhibits, and artistic performances.
Showcasing the work of UW Undergraduates
Each year, Research in the Rotunda is a wonderful opportunity to learn about the exciting research going on throughout the state and to support Wisconsin students and faculty members who contribute to the state’s strong economic future.
The National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR) will be held virtually on April 12-14, 2021. NCUR is dedicated to promoting undergraduate research, scholarship, and creative activity in all fields of study by sponsoring an annual conference for students. Unlike meetings of academic professional organizations, this gathering of student scholars welcomes presenters from all institutions of higher learning across all disciplines.
CUR has been monitoring the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic situation for many months and has made the decision that the safest way to hold NCUR is in the digital space.
Registration is January 1- March 19. Click here to register!
